Sponsorship & Giving

Support Those Who Serve Lane County

Community support puts equipment in deputies' hands, training behind their decisions, and safety programs in the neighborhoods that need them. Every gift is stewarded with specificity — you will always know what it accomplished.

About Your Contribution

We are in the process of gaining our tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service and have been assured by our legal specialist that we can expect to gain our 501(c)(3) status retroactive to the date of incorporation. You may take a tax deduction for your contribution to the full extent allowed by law. We will notify you if the IRS does not grant us retroactive tax-exempt status.

Three Ways to Give

Choose the way of supporting the Foundation that fits you best.

Become a Sponsor

Select one of the annual Community Sponsorship levels and receive the recognition associated with that level.

Donations and sponsorships are not the same thing. A donation — of any amount, at any frequency — makes you a valued Foundation supporter, but it does not create a named sponsorship. Sponsorship requires entering the sponsorship program and accepting its terms.

Sponsorship & LCSO History

Every level carries a name from the Sheriff's Office's own history.

The LCSO SERVE Foundation's sponsorship levels are named for men who shaped — and in some cases gave their lives in — the service of Lane County. Sponsoring at any level associates your support with their legacy of service.

History. Service. Community. Legacy.

These are the programs, projects and equipment needs the Foundation is actively raising toward. The list changes as priorities change.

Where Needed Most

Trust us to put it where it counts.

An unrestricted contribution lets the Foundation respond quickly to whatever matters most at the time — an urgent equipment gap, a training opportunity, or a community safety need that can't wait for a campaign.

Sponsorship Disclosure

Sponsorship recognition and benefits are subject to applicable sponsorship terms and the sponsor remaining in good standing with the LCSO SERVE Foundation. The Foundation reserves the right to decline, suspend or terminate sponsorship recognition or benefits when it reasonably determines that a sponsor, its representatives, affiliates or participants have engaged in conduct inconsistent with the Foundation's mission, public safety, applicable law, the interests or reputation of the LCSO SERVE Foundation or Lane County Sheriff's Office, or appropriate standards of conduct. Removal or termination of sponsorship recognition does not necessarily entitle a sponsor to a refund, credit or replacement benefit.

Sponsorship represents recognition of financial support for the LCSO SERVE Foundation and does not constitute or imply endorsement, recommendation, approval, preferential treatment or special access by the LCSO SERVE Foundation, Lane County, the Lane County Sheriff's Office, or any public official or employee.

Ride-alongs and similar experiences associated with a sponsorship are subject to Lane County Sheriff's Office approval and applicable eligibility, background, safety, scheduling, conduct, waiver and operational requirements. Such opportunities may be denied, cancelled, delayed, rescheduled or terminated based upon applicable policies or operational considerations.

The Foundation retains discretion regarding the timing, wording, design, placement and format of sponsor recognition. Additional terms and conditions apply to individual sponsorships.
